摘要：A biaxially oriented polyester film which consists of a polyester compositioncomprising 0.0005 to 0.03% by weight of crosslinked polymer particles having an averageparticle diameter d.sub.A of 0.8 to 1. 6 &mgr; m, 0.1 to 0.8% by weight of inert particleshaving an average particle diameter d.sub.B of 0.4 to 0.8 &mgr;m, and 0.05 to 1.0% byweight of inert inorganic particles having an average particle diameter d. sub.C of 0.01 to0.3 &mgr;m and a Moh's hardness of not less than 7, and which satisfies the followingequations (1) and (2):

1. 5≦d.sub.A /d.sub.B ≦3 (1)

wherein d.sub.A and d. sub.B are defined as above,

SRz/SRa≧20 (2)

wherein SRz is a three dimensional 10-points average roughness of a film surface andSRa is a three dimensional center plane average roughness of a film surface.
