摘要：An interconnection device is disclosed for optically interconnecting a plurality ofoptical devices. The interconnection device comprises an optically transparent spacermaterial having opposite surfaces with a photosensitive material, having fringes thereinformed in a specified manner, fixedly positioned on one of said surfaces. The othersurface of the spacer material has a plurality of positions for fixedly positioning theoptical devices thereon. The fringe pattern within the photosensitive material is formedby directing a first coherent light beam through the photosensitive material and thespacer material to a first one of said plurality of positions and by directing a secondcoherent light beam from a second one of said plurality of positions through thetransparent spacer material to interfere with the first coherent light beam in thephotosensitive material.
