摘要：The invention relates to a device for measuring the speed of a roller whichmoves relative to a camshaft. The roller is fitted at the lower end of a piston which formspart of a high-pressure pump for a fuel injection system of a combustion engine (101 ).The roller is magnetic and a magnetic field sensor is situated inside the piston, close tothe roller's journal. When the roller moves towards the camshaft, a periodic signal isgenerated which can be compared with the camshaft's rotation to make it possible todetect sliding of the roller.
