摘要:Contemplated are simplification and cost reduction in arrangement of
connecting a pair of steel pipes to each other. A joint mechanism for a pair of steel pipepiles A, B includes an inner joint A provided in the steel pipe pile A, an inner joint B, anouter joint disposed circumferentially between and across the inner joint A of the steelpipe pile A and the inner joint B of the steel pipe pile B, and a key member configured toprevent relative movement between the pair of steel pipe piles A, B in a longitudinaldirection of these steel pipes . The outer joint includes an opening portion (A, B) forinserting, from its outer circumferential face, split key members constituting the keymember into a key groove constituted of an outward circumferential groove (A, B)provided in the outer circumference of the inner joint A and the inner joint B respectivelyand an inward circumferential groove (A, B) provided in the inner circumference of theouter joint in opposition to the outward circumferential groove (A, B).
