Step 1 复习(1分钟)
让两个学生介绍班上学生的情况(使用比较级)。 eg: A:Who is funnier, A or B?
B:I think B is funnier. Step 2 情景导入(2分钟) 教师让两名学生各唱一首歌,然后问: Who sang better? Why did he/she sing well?
环节说明:通过师生互动既复习了上节课的内容,又锻炼了学生的口语。
Step 3 完成教材2d的任务

2.对比自己的父母,完成3c表格内容,然后用Who is … your mother or your father?来询问你的搭档父母的情况。(3分钟)

.比赛;竞争;竞赛
competition,contest与match三个词均有“比赛,竞争之意”。competition多指体育运动中的各项比赛、角逐,也指知识、技巧等方面的竞赛。contest多指在音乐、书法、演讲等方面所进行的比赛或竞争,其结果由评判委员会裁决。match通常指体育运动项目的比赛,隐含势均力敌意味。
2.win
v.
win意为“获胜;赢得”,后面接比赛或奖项作宾语;而beat后面接人或球队作宾语,表示“击败;战胜”,常构成beat sb.in sth.结构,意为“在某方面击败某人”。如:
They will win the tennis match tomorrow. 明天他们会赢得这场网球赛。 He never beats me in ping-pong. 在乒乓球上,他从来没打败过我。
3.But the most important thing is to learn something new and have fun.但是最重要的事情是学习新东西和玩得开心。
(1)the most important意为“最重要的”,是important的最高级形式。
(2)to learn something new and have fun是不定式短语作表语。当动词或动词短语不作句子的谓语时,要把动词或动词短语转变成to do sth.或doing sth.如:
To learn English well is very necessary. 学好英语是很有必要的。
(3)have fun意为“玩得开心”,后面接v.ing形式,相当于have a good time或enjoy oneself。如:Did you have fun camping?
