摘要：A communications system may include a first mobile device holder (e.g. acharging cradle) and a first trigger device (e.g. a magnet) associated therewith, a second
mobile device holder (e.g. belt holster or an arm-band holster, e.g. some holders may beconfigured for use within an automobile on a dashboard, air conditioner vent, etc.)different than the first mobile device holder and a second trigger device (e.g. a magnet)associated with the second mobile device holder, and a first NFC device associated withthe first mobile device holder. The system may further include a mobile device (e.g. smartphone, etc.)comprising a housing configured to be removably coupled with the firstholder or the second holder, a second NFC device carried by the housing, and a detector(e.g. Hall-effect detector) carried by the housing and configured to detect the firsttrigger device or the second trigger device. The mobile device may also include acontroller carried by the housing and configured to determine positioning in the first orsecond holder based upon the second NFC device and the detector, and operate in arespective first or second operating mode accordingly.
