The exam-oriented education system has been in China for a long time. This system has been criticized for a long time at the same time. Because it has many shortcomings. For instance, students lack of the practical ability, students have too much burden and so on.
Mark is the only standard which is used to evaluate a student. So many schools and parents only care about mark. So students must works hard on how to improve their mark. The practical ability and innovation ability are ignored. And many students treat study as something boring not something happy. In my opinion, quality-oriented education is quite necessary. There should be more standards to evaluate a student. Mark is only a part of it. Schools should pay more attention to the train of student’s practical ability and innovation ability.
