摘要： Toothed pulley (21, 21A) and toothed belt (23, 23A) combined, as well as theirmanufacturing process. The toothed belt has teeth (31, 31A) that fit together in series inthe cavities (25, 25A) of the pulley disposed between adjacent teeth (24, 24A) of thepulley. Each tooth (31, 31A) of the belt has a longitudinal cross-section which defines apair of side faces (37, 37A) having free ends (49, 49A) opposite to their adjacent legs (39,39A). The teeth (24, 24A) of the pulley (21, 21A) and teeth (31, 31A) of the belt (23, 23A)are constructed and arranged such that the teeth (24, 24A) of the pulley would compressradially both inside and outside, the pair of free ends (49, 49A) of each tooth (31, 31A) ofthe belt against each other, if this tooth (31 , 31A) of the belt was entirely containedwithin the cavity (25, 25A) formed between adjacent teeth (24, 24A) of the pulley, andwhether those adjacent pulley teeth hardly touching the flat areas (36) of the beltlocated on each side of the belt tooth while being spaced from the respective legs (39,39A) of the teeth of the belt.
